PARTICIPATE IN THE PROJECT

Your photograph and words will be a part of something that has never been done before.  We began funding this project ourselves--five weeks of travel from CA to NY with three kids!--because we believe it is so important.  Women around the country are stepping up to sponsor each other and various locations in order to bring this project to more people and places.

Participants are asked to contribute a small fee that goes directly back into covering the project travel costs.  You will receive three to five high-resolution professional digital images for you to keep, separate from the project gallery images.  Kids are welcome and wanted for the mini-shoots! 
We love the idea of commemorating your bond on this day.
{ What to Expect }
Prior to the shoot, we'll arrange time slots of about 90 minutes each for participants.  Please be at the location a few minutes before that time looking as you would like to appear in photographs.  Generally, each participant will meet privately with Cristen or Lindsay for 30 to 60 minutes to share her story, and then will move on to the photo shoot with Lindsay, which takes from 15 to 30 minutes and includes photos for both the project photo gallery and for you and your family.  Children are welcome at any point (and many women include them in the mini-shoots), but we also try to provide a place for them to play to give you some privacy while you're sharing.  Any more questions?  Email us.

{ Refund Policy }
Once a location is confirmed, it involves extensive planning, travel, and associated expenses for a limited number of spots. For that reason, we can only honor refund requests made 30 days or more prior to the scheduled date.  As an alternative, you may make arrangements to transfer your spot to someone else.
